Home Buying Process
You’ve found
the home you want to buy, now what? There are several stages of
the buying process you will go through before you can officially
call it your own including:
Purchase Agreement
This document is the legal contract in which you and the seller
outline the details of the property transfer. Your Skye Bruce
Properties’ REALTOR® will work with to draft
your offer, help you negotiate the contract and get it accepted.
Inspection
Part of the Purchase Agreement, the inspection gives you an in-depth
analysis on the condition of the home and if any repairs may be
needed. Your Skye Bruce Properties’ REALTOR®
can give you several recommendations for qualified inspectors,
work with you on your list of priorities and negotiate inspection
items which need repair with seller.
Negotiation
Negotiation between your Skye Bruce Properties’ REALTOR®
and the seller's agent may occur several times throughout the
process to give you the most favorable terms of your purchase.
Financing
You may already be pre-approved, but now that you’re closer
to the actual purchase price, you’ll be working more in-depth
with your lender on your final loan approval. Our Skye Bruce Properties
staff will help you through this process!
Title Insurance
You'll receive a full report detailing the property history for
you and your lender to ensure there are no legal encumbrances
between a new owner and the property being purchased.
Closing
At closing, all the paperwork is signed and the documents are
officially recorded. Prior to closing, you'll receive a settlement
statement outlining any fees that apply to you. All this can happen
right at our convenient Skye Bruce Properties offices or at the
attorney’s office of your choice. After closing is finalized
and recorded, the home is yours!!!
